There is a large kitchen/diner with a patio outside looking onto vines and prune trees all around. This part used to be a wine press room. There is a large lounge, which used to be a barn. This has sofas, chairs etc, a dining table and chairs and 2 single beds. It has a wood burning stove in it for Springtime heating. There is a bedroom with a double bed and one single bed, wardrobes etc. This used to be the bedroom of the old farm cottage. There is a big room at the back, which used to be the farmhouse lounge. In this we have built the shower room and separate toilet. There is also a part curtained off to the side of this which has a double bed in it and wardrobe. This old lounge has the big fire chimney (blocked off now) and a tiny window with bars over it. The front porch used to be the kitchen and has an old stone sink in it (I mean OLD STONE not one of those Victorian things). Opposite the cottage are vines of the cotes de Duras wine and a small piece of land behind an old barn which is also ours and can be used for putting up a tent or bonfires etc. There are two little farms nearby.
